SSI AGM – first under new company structure

Attendees at SSI’s AGM – the first as a company.

“I’m confident Settlement Services International will continue to be effective, exciting and innovative, providing real value to our clients, to our members and to our members’ clients.”

The meeting also resolved to amend the SSI constitution to allow the company to register as community housing provider and to tender for housing contracts.

“The amended constitution means that we can now grow our Housing Services area and confidently plan to take a collaborative and expanded role in the much-needed affordable and social housing sector,”  Mr Dabboussy said.

Presented to the members was the reappointment of two Board members Om Dhungel and Lou Bacchiella for a three-year term. “I congratulate them on being reappointed and wish the board every success in the coming year,” Mr Dabboussy added.

More than 60 people attended the AGM including SSI’s Migrant Resource Centre and Multicultural Service members, Board directors, CEO Violet Roumeliotis, Company Secretary, Peter Zographakis; COO, Astrid Perry; Chair of the SSI Nominations Committee, David Rosenbaum and representatives from the organisation’s auditors, Grant Thornton.
