World of Cultures School Activity

Many Cultures, One Community

World of Cultures takes place on the traditional lands of Yagara and Yugambeh in the heartland of Logan City – one of Australia’s most multicultural cities! To celebrate Logan’s multicultural heritage and diversity, we are asking school kids of all ages to reflect on what makes them happy about living in Logan by developing a poem, written word or artwork on Why I love my town.

  1. Using the thought clouds or speech bubbles, create an artwork or written piece on “Why I love my Town”. Be as creative as you like!
  2. Cut out the speech bubble or thought cloud and bring it with you to the World of Cultures event on 24 August, where they will be displayed within the Kingston Butter Factory for all to admire.
